The Belly Sling

So I am wearing a belly sling now - seems our little man is a bit of a "low rider" and putting some pressure and the such on my lower body and back!! Look for pictures tomorrow or the next day - I am too exhasuted to get up and take one now :).

Change on the shower date in OH. Looks like a girly shower the weekend of the 28th of March....then if we want to have a bbq in May for folks before Andrew joins us we just might do it!! Jen (BF) and Wendy (neighbor) have offered to pull this off - I am so excited and blessed to have friends that are willing to help out and do this for me. Of course, John just wants to get all the guys together to drink some beers and watch BBall that weekend.

John has started playing bball on Sundays - am and pm - I just think he hopes he will get out of going to church every now and then :). There is a 'new mom' event tomorrow I am going to run to so I can get the freebies they hand out and J is going to call and find out how much longer till our baby furniture is here. I will pick out the colors now that we have the border here for "Curious George"......looks like painting is in the near future.

So we are finally getting this together....here are the pics from Wk 23 - I am HUGE now - the baby is kicking every morning at 6am, so definitely taking after me vs. John who can't get out of bed before noon on the weekends :). We got registered at Target and Babies R Us with still some updates and work to do......anyways, I will try and be more diligent on this...I promise...

And...we have a name picked out....Andrew (Drew) Rardin - we are still swinging back and forth on the middle name.....more to come but leaning towards family names.

Oh, and John has picked out the theme for the room, "Curious George". Best Friend Jen is coming over to help paint the walls with some characters from the book sometime soon. So if you see some Curious George precious things - send them our way or send us a link to create.

Mom wants me to head to Dallas in March for a shower so I think that is the plan for March 14th weekend. Jen and our neighbor Wendy want to throw a shower for us here in April - maybe the weekend of the 18th (the weekend after Easter).

We ordered our baby furniture as well, it should be here in March/April. For valentines day, John and I installed overhead lighting/fans in our upstairs bedrooms - first step to preparation.

Wk of February 1st 2009

Welcome to our first blog! We are new with this process but stay with us as we get better! We are expecting our first child on June 17, 2009 and very much looking forward to sharing the family happenings with you. We are almost 21 wks into the pregnancy and I am getting larger by the minute. We will try and get some pics on-line as soon as we get them taken -
